Biography

Nick Wreden is a branding expert with more than 20 years of branding and technology experience with Fortune 500 and other top companies. His latest book is ProfitBrand: How to Increase the Profitability, Accountability and Sustainability of Brands, which has been endorsed by brand gurus Don Schultz, Philip Kotler, George Stalk, senior vice president of Boston Consulting Group and other leading business and branding figures. A previous book was FusionBranding: How To Forge Your Brand for the Future, which was voted a 'best business book in 2002.

Nick has worked as a consultant with such companies as Oracle, IBM, Cisco, Seagate, Hitachi and many others. He founded one of the first technology marketing firms in the U.S., which was later sold to Ketchum Communications.

Nick has successfully presented numerous branding seminars and workshops for government and private sector organizations in Malaysia as well as China, USA, Canada, Turkey and Norway. He has been a featured speaker at AMA (American Marketing Association) events as well as the keynote speaker at tourism and brand identity conferences.

Nick’s undergraduate degree is from Washington & Lee University. He also has a MS in technology management from Mercer University and a MA in journalism from the University of Missouri. He served in the Peace Corps in Korea.
