Excuse me fellas - since when has propoganda become branding?

Good branding is what happens when a company (or person) does everything else right - and does it consistantly.

Bush's propoganda is finally catching up with him just as so many of thos who employed the tactic previously in history.

It's a modern media savvy version of "the big lie".

Like Hitler, Bush is excellent at branding.
With Karl Rove defending illegal wiretapping, he has his Goering. Next he will be defending warrantless arrests in the middle of the night. I'm sure they're doing data mining of the ACLU member list.
With Dick Cheney advocating torture, Bush has his Goebbels. It takes an unprincipled lobbyist and propagandist to keep the people fooled.
They employ the Big Lie: "wiretapping without warrants is legal" The oftener they say it, perhaps people will believe it.
Instead of invading the Czech Republic and Austria for no valid reason, we've invaded Iraq. Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction, no connection to Osama, and was not a threat to its neighbors. Bush and his lackey Colin Powell simply lied to the public. Many people still believe the lies are true.
Like Hitler, Bush doesn't brook any dissension. If the democrats dare to filibuster, he'll work to change Senate rules to restrict it, similar to actions Hilter took in the Reichstag.
Bush is excellent at branding, except for the fact that he is illiterate and can't complete a full sentence without extensive coaching and rehearsal.
I think you picked the wrong guy to make your point. Why not tell us about what a great branding guru Stalin was?
